Summary
Sennheiser's App Store listing for MobileConnect, the app through which listeners hear a venue's Wi-Fi audio stream on their own iPhone or iPad.
Key findings
- Advises: "To avoid audio delay through Bluetooth, we recommend wired headphones or induction ear hooks."
- Describes the app as part of a Wi-Fi audio streaming system for live events, for uses including assistive listening and live translation, and lists among its benefits: "Connect your headphones, neck loop or preferred hearing aids", using one's own device instead of rental equipment, and choosing a channel from a list or by QR code.
- Requires iOS 15.6 or later. Its privacy label lists coarse location, device identifiers, product interaction and diagnostic data, described as not linked to the user's identity, with "Analytics" as the purpose given for collecting them.
Limits
A maker's self-written store listing, read on 9 October 2026; listings and privacy labels change with each release. The date is the release of version 6.3.1 in the listing's version history, and the description may be older. It gives no delay figures for any listening path, and Sennheiser's data sheet gives the app's latency without saying which path it applies to.
