Williams AV Unveils Three New Products at InfoComm 2024

Summary

A maker's release announcing a new infrared transmitter for assistive listening, alongside a loop amplifier and an intercom.

Key findings

• Announces the SoundPlus T3 as "the latest addition" to the maker's infrared product line, one of three new products that expand its hearing loop, intercom and infrared lines.
• Says the T3 uses the newest generation of LEDs to give 50 percent more coverage than the existing T2 model, and can be controlled and monitored by third-party room systems over Ethernet.
• Names conference rooms, assisted living facilities, cinemas and theatres, classrooms and courtrooms as uses, for assistive listening and language interpretation.

Limits

A product announcement without test data; the coverage gain is the maker's own claim.
