  • Lists Samsung Galaxy S23 and newer except S23 FE, Z Fold5 and newer, and Z Flip5 and newer as supporting both transmission and an assistant, under a Samsung heading specifying One UI 6.1 or later.
  • Lists Google Pixel 8 and newer except Pixel 8a and Pixel 9a, plus Xiaomi 14T, 14T Pro, 14, 14 Ultra, 15, 15 Ultra and MIX Flip, in the transmission-and-assistant group. It gives no OS version for Google or Xiaomi.
  • Separately lists Galaxy S20 series and newer, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, A54 5G, A55 5G and M54 5G as assistant-capable without transmission. The broad S20-and-newer wording overlaps the transmission list; it cannot establish that all later Galaxy S models lack transmission.
  • States that Apple has not activated Auracast in iPhones and other named Apple product categories. It treats newer Bluetooth hardware only as a possible basis for a future update, whose availability and technical feasibility it does not establish.
  • Defines an assistant as a way to control receivers such as hearing aids, headphones and speakers, including finding and choosing streams and entering access codes, through receiver apps or compatible phones.

Limits

An advocacy guidance page and list, not a model-by-model test. The Q&A says July 2026, but embedded material has other dates, including an August 2026 hearing-device list; the phone passages have no individual revision dates. The S20-and-newer grouping overlaps the separate newer-Samsung group. Assistant listings do not identify compatible hearing aids, firmware, success rates or whether each listed phone uses built-in controls or an app. The page's separate claim that hearing aids receive only Standard Quality is broader than later manufacturer evidence for Phonak EON; this record retains only the phone and assistant findings.
